Art submissions for consideration to be published as limited edition fine art prints should be sent by email to the address shown on the right as attached jpeg files along with an outline about yourself and your work.
DO NOT send original artwork or other items in the post until we request you to do so. We are unable to return these items due to the volume of submissions we receive.
Do Some Research
We often receive artwork which is unsuitable for publishing as limited edition fine art prints. So before you contact us, visit art galleries to see what is already in the market place and ask as many people as possible about your work and get honest opinions. Always think about quality. Is your work of a really high standard? Can it compete with what is already on the market? Remember, we are looking for the best fine artists in the UK.
Photography
Please do not send us photographic images as we do not consider these for limited edition prints at present.
How We Pay
We pay our artists on a commission basis. i.e. the artist receives a percentage of the trade value of each item we sell. We do not pay artists or designers up front for artwork or designs. The artist reserves the right to sell the original piece of work.
Submit
Please make sure you have read the guidance notes before sending any art submissions to avoid disappointment.
We only reply to artists whose work may be suitable for publication as limited edition prints.
You may assume that your work is not suitable if you have not had a reply from us within two weeks.
Good luck and best wishes
The Brimstone Team
We try to keep things transparent and simple at all times here at Brimstone. We are in the business of selling fine art prints but like all industries, there are no guarantees of sales.
We never make promises we can't keep and like to work closely with artists to develop our portfolio and improve sales for everyone's benefit.
We like to work with artists who are keen to develop their career but who are also patient and realistic about publishing and selling art.
As part of our policy of transparency, we like to give all artists which we are interetested in working with, the opportunity to look at a sample contract.
You will need Acrobat Reader and a password to open the document. We only supply passwords to artists we have contacted directly or replied to after they have submitted samples of their work to us (see guidance notes on this page).
